The gum tissue
(called gingiva)
around this patients front two crowns bled chronically with flossing and brushing. The front three crowns were removed (the two front teeth, along with the right lateral incisor, next to the right front tooth) and the tissue allowed to heal. Then, crowns were designed to allow the tissue to form around the teeth naturally, without the past chronic problems.
